Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8422Dam failures can lead to severe socio-environmental disasters, especially in Self-Rescue Zones (ZAS), where there is no time for authorities to act, In Tucurui, Pará, the ZAS covers predominantly urban areas, increasing the risk to the local population. In this context, it is essential that health units located outside the ZAS are prepared to serve as safe support points, particularly for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. This study evaluated the external accessibility of nine health units outside the ZAS of the Tucurui Hydroelectric Power Plant, within the scope of the Dam Safety Plan (PSB) and the Emergency Action Plan (PAE). A checklist was developed based on ABNT NBR 9050:2020 and other technical standards. The units were analyzed according to their management (municipal or state) and their inauguration period (until 2004 and from 2010 onwards). The results showed that state-managed units and those inaugurated after 2010 had better accessibility conditions.
