The objective is to develop an innovative methodology that uses these resources to address socio-environmental impacts, in line with the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The research adopts a qualitative and qualitative approach, based on theories about new teaching methods. Questionnaires were applied to teachers and professionals in the pedagogical area to evaluate the efficiency of these resources. In addition, a content analysis was carried out of one manga and three animes that address relevant social and environmental themes. The results show that the methodological proposal “Didactic Sequence”, developed for this monograph, was well received by teachers and the pedagogical team, indicating its viability for application in the classroom. The selected manga and anime proved to be effective in portraying various socio-environmental impacts, contributing to the critical and reflective development of students. The didactic proposal promotes the integration of Geography content with other subjects, according to the BNCC, and encourages student participation in the proposed discussions. It is concluded that the monograph purpose was achieved by demonstrating the viability and effectiveness of manga and anime as didactic resources for teaching Geography in Elementary School - Final Years.
