In order to mitigate the permanent effects of CKD, healthcare professionals currently use Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT). Failure to treat CKD leads to fatal outcomes. Therefore, it is essential to analyze the morbidity profile of RHD. Methodology: This is a descriptive and retrospective study with a quantitative approach, covering the period from 2013 to 2023. Data were collected by the Department of Information Technology of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), including information recorded in the Mortality Information System (SIM). Results: A total of 123 deaths were recorded in the Xingu region during the analyzed period. The distribution of deaths, in absolute values, shows that the largest number occurred in the municipality of Altamira, totaling 48 cases. The profile of deaths showed that most of the individuals were brown (77 records) and had 1 to 3 years of schooling (33 deaths). Regarding age group, the highest number of deaths was recorded in individuals over 70 years of age. Regarding marital status, the group of married individuals had the highest number of deaths. Discussion: It can be inferred that during the study period, in the Xingu Region there was a higher prevalence of deaths in smaller municipalities, such as Senador Jose Porfírio and Vitoria do Xingu, which had the highest mortality peaks per 100,000 inhabitants. In addition, CKD predominantly affects individuals with lower levels of schooling, advanced age, and belonging to the brown racial group. Conclusion: Based on these findings, the need to strengthen Primary Health Care (PHC) is evident, with strategies aimed at prevention, early detection, and continuous monitoring of patients with CKD.Acesso AbertoDoença renal crônicaPerfilÓbitosChronic kidney diseaseProfileDeathsCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::MEDICINA::CLINICA MEDICA::NEFROLOGIASaúde renal na região Xingu: caracterização da mortalidade em pacientes crônicos ao longo de 10 anosTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
