Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9888This final course paper is the result of research conducted at the Luduvino Antônio de Araujo school, located in the quilombo la community of Jurussaca, municipality of Tracuateua, State of Pará. Its objective was to understand whether the pedagogical practices meet the requirements defined by Brazilian legislation for quilombola education. The study adopted a qualitative approach, based on bibliographic review and content analysis, carried out through semi-structured interviews with two teachers, a pedagogical coordinator, and document analysis of the school's Political Pedagogical Project. The research results showed that, although there are still significant gaps related to the lack of continuing education for teachers, the educational practices developed by the teachers, as well as the teaching projects implemented, demonstrate a commitment to valuing and constantly engaging in dialogue with the culture and identity of the community.
