In addition to the environmentally sound destination, the reduction in raw material exploration and the production of new materials with high added value are attractive for these studies. The steel industry is a large waste generator and needs to be reused, in addition to the use of large amounts of material as cargo (iron ore, fuel and fluxes) in the steel production process. Thus, the production of iron ore sinter with the incorporation of 12% rolling mill scale is the objective of this work, which enables the production of cargo for the blast furnace through the reuse of fines and industrial waste. For the production of the load a vertical fixed bed reactor was used. The sinter were characterized by MEV / EDS, DRX, FRX, magnetic permeability and drumming, and the study of the optimal moisture content.
