Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/4092This study aimed to analyze the understanding of parents/guardians about the pedagogical process of learning and correlated with an overview of how children's swimming lessons from 3 to 7 years old are in the city of Belém-Pa. For that, a study was carried out in three blocks, with interviews with 40 parents/guardians, questionnaire with 11 teachers, and observation form of swimming lessons carried out by the researcher, in four children's swimming schools in the city of Belém-Pa. In which, he identified that there is instability and antagonistic thinking in the understanding on the part of parents/guardians and teachers. And the teachers have experience, understanding and awareness of the teaching methodology, but they often apply mechanistic classes.
