Based on a qualitative approach, supported by bibliographic and documentary review, direct observation, and data systematized by LEDTAM/UFPA, the study examines how the market articulates economic, social, and territorial practices that express the continued interaction between city, river, and forest. The results show that the market plays a central role in supplying both urban and riverine populations, integrating products from family farming, extractivism, and regional and national distribution centers, thus forming a multiscalar circulation system. The analysis demonstrates that the market functions as a territory of sociability, identity reaffirmation, and mediation between different productive circuits, revealing hybrid forms of urbanization characteristic of Amazonian cities.
