This study proposes an innovative methodology to evaluate museum collections at the Federal University of Pará, aiming to identify challenges related to preservation and management. Supported by the Museology course, the methodology includes a literature review and data analysis conducted between 2022 and 2023, providing a solid and up-to-date theoretical foundation.
