Por quem? written by paraense writer Maria Lúcia Medeiros, who dedicated praise and encourage studies on women's literature from Pará, which are still little known in Brazil her work to talking about the hard reality experienced by women fromnorth region. The story told by Maria Lúcia Medeiros describes a woman’s struggle who left the countryside as a child and went to Pará’s capital to pursue a better life, but she was faced with a violence, exploitation and abuse situation. Based on this premise, we will make a bibliographic approach to we develop a critical and reflective view about the fact above-mentioned, and we will give attention to several violence types suffered by personage and how she was behaved in that situation.
