Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/3204This monografic ends with an attempt to explain the importance of children's stories in the lives of children and the contributions they provide to the children in the affective, cognitive and social aspects, helping them to develop. children's stories constitute a powerful tool for reflection and discovery of lessons. As a research problem, we have: Why should not we lose the habit of reading or telling children stories to our children? Aiming to analyze their importance and also write and reflect children's stories. Personally, children's stories serve to rescue the little child inside me. Socially, they serve to understand life and even solve problems. Scientifically, they constitute a rich interdisciplinary content, because they speak of citizenship, diversity, inclusion among other things necessary for social interaction. As a methodology, we will use a bibliographical research where the main authors to be used are Scharf (2000), Bernardino e Souza (2011) and Cademartori (2010). We came to the main conclusion that telling stories to children is not bullshit or waste of time as many people often think.
