Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7873Based on Resolution No. 4, of April 1, 2024; which established the rules for carrying out the Undergraduate Course Work by students of the Degree in Chemistry and made the use of scientific works produced in the course of the undergraduate course as Course Work more flexible, a requirement for obtaining the degree in chemistry; this text presents the compilation of an academic production presented at the scientific event Meeting of Research in Education and Science Teaching in the Amazon - EPEECA. In summary, the theme chosen as the central theme of the production is based on the conduct on healthy eating habits and their relationship with health. In this context, it is important to highlight the role of the school as a space for promoting citizenship and healthy eating habits. In this sense, the present work will present the educational product "Food Química", an authorial game that addresses the chemistry of food with a focus on the food culture of the Amazon region, especially in the state of Pará. The objective was to contextualize the elements that make up the lunch of the people of Pará with nutritional and chemical information of the foods usually present in this meal. The game is designed to be played in a class of 40 high school students, where participants must answer questions with an emphasis on the biochemistry of food. The use of this didactic material reinforces the importance of the school in addressing health/food issues, because in addition to promoting meaningful learning, it can expand reflection on conscious choices in food, being an essential resource for the promotion of quality of life and the teaching-learning process.
