| dc.description.abstract | This work aims to understand oral sources and their role in truth commission investigations by analyzing the use of Aikewara testimonies in the final report of the State Truth Commission of Pará (CEV-PARÁ). As specific objectives, we sought to conceptualize testimonies based on definitions from oral sources and archives; understand the work of the National Truth Commission (CNV) and CEV-PARÁ within the scope of investigations into human rights violations during the Brazilian military dictatorship; and present the use of the Aikewara testimonies in the CEV-PARÁ investigations, starting from Chapter 8, in section II of the Final Report. This is exploratory research, with a qualitative and descriptive approach, which uses bibliographic, and documentary means, carrying out a bibliographic review and using the final reports and websites of the CNV and CEV-PARÁ. As a result, testimonies/testimonies are presented from the Aikewara indigenous peoples in the CEV-PARÁ final report, highlighting their importance for the recognition of human rights violations of traditional peoples during the military dictatorship in the state of Pará. | dc.description.resumo | Este trabalho visa compreender as fontes orais e o seu papel nas investigações das comissões da verdade por meio da análise da utilização dos testemunhos dos Aikewara no relatório final da Comissão Estadual da Verdade do Pará (CEV-PARÁ). Como objetivos específicos, buscou-se conceituar os testemunhos a partir das definições de fontes orais e arquivos; compreender os trabalhos da Comissão Nacional da Verdade (CNV) e da CEV-PARÁ no âmbito das investigações sobre violações de direitos humanos na ditadura militar brasileira; e apresentar a utilização dos testemunhos dos Aikewara nas investigações da CEV-PARÁ, a partir do Capítulo 8, do Tombo II, do Relatório final. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, de abordagem qualitativa e descritiva, que se utiliza dos meios bibliográfico e documental com a realização de revisão bibliográfica e utilização dos relatórios finais e websites da CNV e CEV-PARÁ. Como resultados, apresentam-se os testemunhos/depoimentos, em especial, dos povos indígenas Aikewara no relatório final da CEV-PARÁ, destacando sua importância para o reconhecimento das violações de direitos humanos dos povos tradicionais durante a ditadura militar no estado do Pará. Espera-se, com essa pesquisa, contribuir para novos debates sobre os arquivos e fontes orais da ditadura militar no estado do Pará, com ênfase nas violações de direitos humanos cometidas contra os povos tradicionais, de forma a dar-lhes visibilidade e colaborar nas formas de reparação e justiça. | pt_BR |
