| dc.description.abstract | This research has as objective introduced the perceptions of patients with diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) about the disease and the renal transplantation, analyzing its complications in daily lives. It is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. The study setting occurred in the hemodialysis sector of the Ophir Loyola Hospital (HOL) located at the Metropolitan Region of Belém Pará. The participants of the research were 11 chronic renal patients on dialysis treatment registered on the waiting list for kidney transplantation of the hospital. The selection of the patients occurred through convenience sample method. They were excluded illiterate, people with communication difficulties and psychiatric. The data collection occurred in the period of five moths in the hemodialysis sector of the hospital, using a half-structured interview technique. Socioeconomic data were also available to patients. As support for analysis of data collected the technique selected was Thematic Analysis. The present study was approved by the Ethics and Research of the Institute of Health Sciences Federal University of Pará Committee under Opinion nº 1.398.096/2016. From the analysis of the answers of the participants four thematic units emerged: 1) Fellings against the diagnosis of CKD: suffering and acceptance; 2) The change daily on the disease and treatment; 3) The two faces os kidney transplantation and 4) The hope through spirituality in coping with chronic kidney disease. During the discussion it was possible to understand the perception of the CKD patient while waiting for kidney transplantation to express feelings of suffering and acceptance in the diagnosis, the significant commitment of the various forms of daily activities reflected by the disease and hemodialysis, the expectation of improving the quality of life represented by output machine with the restoration of organic functions objectified by transplant and demonstration of hope manifested through spirituality to spirituality to cope with the disease while waiting for a new treatment. In this context it is essential the monitoring by nurse in the humanized assistance to carrier of CKD to assist you in all aspects that require attention are physical or psychological. Because it is an incurable disease where there is emotional instability the patient needs to have their questions answered, their insecurities ameliorated, they are constantly encouraged to follow the hemodialysis treatment and it is for the nurse with the multidisciplinary team strategize for all stages of expected to succeed until the transplant are experienced with higher quality. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.resumo | Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo apresentar as percepções dos pacientes com diagnóstico de Doença Renal Crônica (DRC) sobre a doença e o transplante renal, analisando as suas implicações no seu cotidiano. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. O cenário do estudo ocorreu no setor de hemodiálise do Hospital Ophir Loyola (HOL) localizado na Região Metropolitana de Belém do Pará. Os participantes da pesquisa foram 11 pacientes renais crônicos em tratamento dialítico cadastrados na lista de espera pelo transplante renal do referido hospital. A seleção dos pacientes ocorreu através do método de amostra por conveniência. Foram excluídos analfabetos, pessoas com dificuldades na comunicação e psiquiátricos. A coleta de dados ocorreu no período de cinco meses no setor de hemodiálise do hospital, utilizando-se a técnica de entrevista semi-estruturada. Dados socioeconômicos também foram disponibilizados pelos pacientes. Como subsídio para análise dos dados coletados a técnica selecionada consistiu na Análise Temática. O presente estudo foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética do Instituto de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal do Pará sob o Parecer nº 1.398.096/2016. A partir da análise das respostas dos participantes surgiram quatro unidades temáticas: 1) Sentimentos diante do diagnóstico de DRC: sofrimento e aceitação; 2) O cotidiano de mudanças diante da doença e tratamento; 3) As duas faces do transplante renal e 4) A esperança através da espiritualidade no enfrentamento da doença renal crônica. Durante a discussão foi possível compreender as percepções do portador de DRC enquanto aguarda o transplante renal ao manifestarem sentimentos de sofrimento e aceitação no diagnóstico, o comprometimento significativo das diversas formas de atividades cotidianas refletidas pela doença e tratamento hemodialítico, a expectativa de melhoria da qualidade de vida representada pelo desvínculo da máquina junto ao restabelecimento das funções orgânicas objetivados pelo transplante e a demonstração de esperança manifesta através da espiritualidade para enfrentar a patologia durante à espera do novo tratamento. Nesse contexto é imprescindível o acompanhamento do enfermeiro na assistência humanizada ao portador da DRC para atendê-lo em todos os aspectos que demandam atenção, sejam eles físicos ou psicológicos. Por se tratar de uma doença incurável em que há instabilidade emocional, o paciente precisa ter suas dúvidas esclarecidas, suas inseguranças amenizadas, ser constantemente incentivado a seguir o tratamento hemodialítico e cabe ao enfermeiro junto a equipe multiprofissional traçar estratégias para que todas as etapas da espera que se sucedem até o transplante sejam vivenciadas com maior qualidade. | pt_BR |
