| dc.description.abstract | The Amazon is a region rich in all aspects, rich in its natural formation surrounded by its pre-Cambrian borders and in its Holocene valley which, besides the largest river in length and volume of water, also has the largest tropical forest and biodiversity, sheltering millennially also traditional peoples who helped build this space, and who today share the same territory with agribusiness, mining, hydroelectric dams, illegal deforestation, among others, much due to the policies of occupation of the Amazon in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. These policies and the unbridled use of natural resources cause impacts, many of which are still unknown. In this sense, this research intends to analyze the environmental dynamics of the Araguari River Watershed in Amapá aiming to understand the natural and anthropic interferences that result in the landscape. To this end, we will work with time series of satellite images from 2000 to 2020 by means of indexes through the Google Earth Engine platform. From the maps we could identify that the greatest changes in the landscape, occurred in areas near the mouth of the Araguari River and in the middle Araguari where livestock and hydro-energy activities, population growth, intense urbanization and deforestation are concentrated. | |
| dc.description.resumo | A Amazônia, é uma região rica em todos os aspectos, rica na sua formação natural rodeada por suas bordas pré-cambrianas e em seu vale holocênico que para além do maior rio em extensão e volume de água, também contempla a maior floresta tropical e biodiversidade, abrigando milenarmente também povos tradicionais que ajudaram a modelar este espaço, e que hoje dividem o mesmo território com o agronegócio, mineração, hidrelétricas, exploração florestal entre outros, muito em razão das políticas de ocupação da Amazônica no século XX e XXI. Estas políticas e o uso desenfreado dos recursos naturais acarretam impactos sendo muitos deles ainda desconhecidos. Neste sentido, a presente pesquisa teve como principal objetivo, analisar a dinâmica ambiental da Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio Araguari no Amapá a fim compreender as interferências naturais e antrópicas que resultam na alteração da paisagem. Para este fim foram analisadas séries temporais de imagem de sensoriamento remoto, no período de 2000 a 2020, utilizando para isto a geração de índices de vegetação, através da plataforma Google Earth Engine. A partir da interpretação das imagens orbitais pudemos identificar que as maiores alterações na paisagem, ocorreram em áreas próximas ao exutório do Rio Araguari e na porção do médio Araguari onde se concentram atividades de pecuária e hidro energéticas, urbanização intensa e desmatamento. | |
